Sacrament of First Reconciliation in the Main Church
A time to celebrate as our candidates will receive God's grace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. The service will begin at 10:00am. The candidates will receive the sacrament first, during this time --parents, family and friends are encouraged to pray silently.  Once all the candidates & catechists have received the Sacrament, they will be asked to join in the back of the main church to be escorted by their catechists to the MPR for fellowship and treats. Next, the priests will remain available for all family and friends to receive the sacrament. Church attire is highly encouraged for this; Please, no jeans, sweat pants, or athletic gear.

Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 9 am - noon
Catechetical Mass and Workshop
Also known as our 2nd grade retreat; yet, it is for all candidates preparing to receive their First Holy Communion.  The Mass and workshop are designed for a parent to accompany the student throughout the morning.  What is a Catechetical Mass?  It is a mass with special instructions!  The Priest will lead our families in prayer as he also leads with instructions about the mass and the importance of so many elements of the sacred liturgy.
After the Mass, we will join in the school for drinks & treats and will proceed through a workshop of instruction, crafts, music & prayer.  Again, as we celebrate the Holy Mass, we encourage appropriate church dress attire.
At the end of the workshop---
---Please be sure to pick up the kit for your First Communion banner*!
